SketchUp EDU (Student) Subscriptions are for use by students only and cannot be used for commercial purposes. See what’s included in your EDU Subscription.  

As students, you must attach proof of your enrolment status to this order including your Educational Institution contact information AND your current enrolment status (eg,Student ID). For more information, see our EDU Subscription FAQs.

A subscription term is annual. You pay once when you start and you’re entitled to use all the features within your chosen SketchUp subscription for one full year. At the end of your 1 year term all e-commerce subscription purchases will automatically renew for an equal term at the then-current price.

Subscriptions also include access to all relevant software updates within the subscription term and support from our local technical support team.

The EDU subscription is a version of SketchUp designed for educational use, including access to full SketchUp Pro features for learning and teaching purposes.

Eligibility is for individuals or institutions involved in education, such as students, educators, or educational organisations. Proof of educational affiliation is required.

Subscriptions are generally valid for 12 months from the date of activation. Renewal is possible if eligibility continues.

EDU subscribers get access to all SketchUp Pro features, including:

  • 3D modelling tools.

  • Layout for documentation.

  • Style Builder.

  • Access to Extension Warehouse.

  • Import/export capabilities.

No. The EDU license is strictly for educational and learning purposes. Commercial use is not permitted.

Yes. The subscription allows installation on up to two devices, but only one device may be active at a time.

Yes. EDU subscribers receive support through BuildingPoint Australia, including help with installation, troubleshooting, and usage guidance.

Yes. EDU subscribers can access the Extension Warehouse to expand the software’s capabilities.
